Do Or Die 03:24
Caught me once trying to live through my limit Caught me once trying to slip through the slide Caught me once trying to take more than give it Caught me once out of the corner of your eye Chorus And I’ll try and I’ll try, try to be a winner Try and I’ll try, try to do or die Try and I’ll try, try like a beginner Try and I’ll try, try to do or die Thought that I was gonna make you my woman Thought that I was gonna do it in style Thought that I was gonna get me a good’un Thought that I was gonna make money by the pile Chorus See myself in a mirror reflection See myself in the back of the car See myself in somebody’s invention See myself in the bottom of the jar Chorus Verse 1 Chorus x 3

Lazybones 03:48
Lazybones, lazybones, get on your feet Lazybones, lazybones, there’s people that you really ought to meet, Lazybones Sleepyhead, get out of bed, get on your way Don’t you know, it’s time to go, it’s time for you to start a brand new day, Lazybones I know things could be better It’s something you can’t deny And I know things will be better when I look into your eyes Lazybones I don’t believe it when you say to me that you don’t think that it’s your fault that things are this way I don’t believe you ever did a hard day’s work in your life But don’t think that you’re the only person in this stupid world who understands you Lazybones, tell me what’s the matter with you Tell me what’s the matter with you. Lazybones, lazybones, get on your feet There’s a lot a lot of people there, there’s people that you really ought to meet Lazybones x 4

Bitter Taste 02:47
It was a big mistake (you took it very well) That anyone could make (as far as I can tell) Oh god for heaven’s sake (looks like you’ve been through hell) It left a bitter taste My hopes were all misplaced A dream that’s gone to waste A win was on the cards (it looked that way to me) Was written in the stars (on that I must agree) It hit me really hard (don’t take it personally) What’s a fella gotta do to get a break It’s my party but I get no piece of cake What’s a fella gotta do to get somewhere Not one to grumble but man life can be unfair It was a big mistake (you said it once before) I’ll give it to you straight (don’t tell me anymore) Was this to be my fate (some things you can’t be sure) It left a bitter taste My hopes were all misplaced It left a bitter taste A dream that’s gone to waste It left a bitter taste

Green neon light, bridge by the waterside Face pressed up tight here on the passenger side We’re taking a ride, taking it inside Taking a ride through your mind Green neon light, bridge by the waterside People in lines for their fish on a Friday night We’re taking a ride, taking it inside Taking a ride through your mind (And you remember where you were) It triggers the time (And you remember where you were) It stays in your mind Unwilling to find until the trigger opens the door You’re taking a ride, taking it inside Taking a ride through your mind (And you remember where you were) It triggers the time (And you remember where you were) It stays in your mind Unwilling to find until the trigger opens the door

Look to the sky, ask yourself why And it’s not gonna be like this I’m gonna make a change Gonna re-arrange you out of my picture No use in talking ‘bout it, time to make the change Just close your eyes and count to three When you wake up you won’t see me And I’ve made up my mind for sure I don’t wanna see your face again You know I’ve tried, but my mind is fried And I don’t want you ‘round no more I’m gonna make a change I’m gonna re-arrange you out of my picture No use in talking ‘bout it, time to make the change Just close your eyes and count to three When you wake up you won’t see me And I’ve made up my mind for sure I don’t wanna see your face again No use in talking ‘bout it, time to make the change Just close your eyes and count to three When you wake up you won’t see me And I’ve made up my mind for sure I don’t ever wanna see your face again

Strange 02:09
Strange, Things turning out this way When the last deal you had to play Was the first win that came your way Gaze Far off into the summer haze But this heat has left you in a daze Stupefied by too much sun rays And you think you’re right ‘cause there’s nothing wrong And you can’t get off when you turn it on So you put your mind in another space When it’s not worth saying you end up playing games Everything just feels the same But you keep pretending anyway Thought you know nothing’s going to change. Strange, strange And you think you’re right ‘cause there’s nothing wrong And you can’t get off when you turn it on So you put your heart in another place When it’s not worth stealing you end up feeling Strange, Things turning out this way When the last deal you had to play Was the first win that came your way Strange, strange, oooh.

Winter time is so cold You wish that everything was on hold But somehow you’ve got to find the strength to face the day Winter time and it rains The leaves block all of the drains Forcing the rain to run down your window pane The city’s always crowded, The trains are overloaded A sea of black umbrellas, With people plastic coated But you feel safe & warmish, Because you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots) Yeah, you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots) Winter time now you’re home Out from the rain & the cold But there’s barely time to wipe the mud away You’re in the car & driving, The windscreen wiper’s wiping The road feels like ice-skating, The rain is still cascading But you feel safe & warmish, Because you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots) Yeah, you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots) The city’s always crowded The trains are overloaded A sea of black umbrellas With people plastic coated But you feel safe & warmish Because you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots) Yeah, you’re wearing Billy’s Boots (wearing Billy’s Boots)

You’re always making big promises but you never come through Not one of your promises has ever come true You think that you can move mountains but you’re just pushing in vain You’re always making big promises, yeah that’s what you do You’re all talk and no action and still you never come through You think that you can move mountains but you’re just pushing in vain Well I’ll tell you what I’ve got, And I’ll tell you what I’m not And I’ll tell why it’s worth the pain Cause when I’m dreaming, It’s like summer in the evening rain And when I’m dreaming, Nothing’s gonna hurt me again, Oh Well I’ll tell you what I’ve got, And I’ll tell you what I’m not And I’ll tell why it’s worth the pain Cause when I’m dreaming, It’s like summer in the evening rain And when I’m dreaming, Nothing’s gonna hurt me again And when I’m dreaming, It’s like summer in the evening rain Cause when I’m dreaming, Nothing’s gonna hurt me again, Oh.

In this place we have been, A place that’s filled with memories And the things we have seen, It just weaves on like tapestries So much love we have shared, We reminisce when we’re apart But someday we’ll be there, The magic stays within our hearts She’s coming home, (The home is in the heart when the heart is in the home) She’s coming home, (That’ll be the day, it’ll take my breath away) In your heart you will find, The things that mean so much to you Sights and sounds fill your mind, But there is still so much to do But there’s always a home, A place where loving can be shared And where ever we roam, We know that place is always there. She’s coming home, (Home is in the heart when the heart is in the home) She’s coming home, (That’ll be the day, it’ll take my breath away) She’s coming home, (The home is in the heart when the heart is in the home) She’s coming home, (That’ll be the day, it’ll take my breath away) Home is in the heart, Heart is in the home Everything is fine now she’s coming home

I’ve got a problem, It’s happened to me more than once Didn’t mean to say what I said, But now the damage is done Went to a party, Drank a lot of O.P. rum I didn’t mean to do what I did, But now the damage is done Sorry ‘bout the record player, Something had to break my fall Someone moved the coffee table, I’m sure it wasn’t there before I’m so embarrassed, Now I can’t face anyone No-one takes me seriously, The damage is done, yeah. One indiscretion, Can get you marked for life I’ve made so many lately, I can’t sleep at night When I’m at a party, And everybody’s having fun One guess who gets the blame, When the damage is done Well I don’t mean to say what I say, I don’t mean to do what I do I’ve got my good points too, Well the damage is done Oh well the damage is done, Well the damage, the damage is done

Better Day 04:08
When you’re back against the wall If you’re headed for a fall When you’ve got nowhere to go And no way home Broken hearts and falling tears A drowning man crippled by fears When you need a helping hand And no-one can hear It don’t have to, don’t have to be that way It don’t have to be that way no more It don’t have to, don’t have to be that way It don’t have to be that way no more When you’re riding on the edge Hanging on the ledge Won’t be too long, you’ll have a better day When you’ve given up on love When you think you’ve had enough And you’ve got nowhere to go And no way home It don’t have to, don’t have to be that way It don’t have to be that way no more, no more Everybody everyone You know we could be having fun Don’t wait too long (don’t wait too long) We’re gonna have a better day Say it won’t be too long (won’t be too long) We’ll have a better day Don’t take too long (don’t take too long)

Count Me Out 02:53
The race is on so here we go To get a vote you can’t stoop too low But count me out, count me out. The pressure’s on so do your job Spread the hate, incite the mob But count me out, count me out. When talking tough is not enough to satisfy the hordes Make refugees your enemies and get your rewards Now’s the time to press ahead Keep the masses full of dread But count me out, count me out (Ooh, Ooh) Repeat a lie and they’ll believe Boat people come illegally But count me out, count me out (Ooh, Ooh) National security is always at stake To justify dehumanising people of a different race Nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah Count me out, count me out (Ooh, Ooh) When talking tough is not enough to satisfy the hordes Make refugees your enemies and get your rewards On your marks, get set to go Sliding down that slippery slope But count me out, count me out (Ooh, Ooh) The genie’s out, can’t put it back The xenophobes are on attack But count me out, count me out (Ooh, Ooh)

Where do we go to from here? Living the life of Riley Doesn’t seem to inspire me now Here at the start of the end Everything seems so uncertain Waiting behind the curtain calls There is no rhyme or reason There are no answers why The question’s hidden in the sky And if you look you’ll see it right before your eyes Here’s to the ghosts of the past Leading us into tomorrow Take up my hand & we’ll follow through The only way is around And as we travel the circuits Until we start to work it out There is no rhyme or reason There are no answers why The question’s hidden in the sky And if you look you’ll see it right before your eyes So where do we go to from here Living the life of Riley Doesn’t seem to inspire me now There is no rhyme or reason There are no answers why The question’s hidden in the sky And if you look you’ll see it right before your eyes
